Point of sale display is a highly specialised form of sales promotion found predominantly next to the checkout counter and its sole purpose is to draw in the customer’s attention to the promotional product. These different forms of displays also help glorify the promotional product and they range from free standing display units, shelf strips, strut cards, counter display units, endcaps, displays stands, posters, mobiles and banners.
Most of the point of sale displays were worked from concepts to end product for major campaigns within the L’Oréal business.
Digital design consists of static, eDMs, website interface, web banners, web skins, gif animation and social media story images.
Conceptual design is an important process of the design development. It includes brainstorming ideas based on research into the real needs of a customer. Rough sketches, mind maps, brand positioning graphs are executed at this stage to visually organise all the thought processes and information collected. It is also the early phase of laying out the creative foundation before design execution.
These are examples of conceptional designs worked on for various brands within the L’Oréal business.
To keep the creative flair going, in my spare time I take on creative freelancing jobs that range from logo design, brand identity, business cards, wedding stationary, birthday invitations, t shirt designs and more!
Working on luxury and professional brands within the L’Oréal business has not only allowed me to expand my creativity but push for innovative ideas when executing seasonal campaigns and new product launches. Some of the large format designs worked on include pop up store dress ups, full department window decals, transparencies, billboards, digital screens, pull up banners, stands, store cladding and outdoor advertisements.
A collection of logos I have designed for clients whilst freelancing. This included conceptualisation, art direction, design and finished art.
